CHAMPIONS LEAGUE MATCHDAY 6 BETTING TIPS AND CORRECT SCORE PREDICTIONS

December 08, 2008 - A.J Ryder The Champions League is set to conclude its group stages this week with Chelsea still yet to qualify for the knockout stages. Luis Felipe Scolari has publically vowed to quit his job if Chelsea fail to qualify against CFR Cluj who, while they have nothing left to play for, have proved to be formidable opponents that offer a lot more threat the standard mediocre Eastern European sides we're used to seeing in the group stages. If they're back next year, I'll drop a few bucks on them getting through.

If Chelsea fail to beat or draw Cluj, then Bordeaux will be taking their spot in the group. Thanks to goal difference, Chelsea look solid value to go through.

Group B is still undecided with Anorthosis Famagusta, Panathinaikos and Inter Milan still trying to settle things at the top of the table. Werder Bremen are out of the tournament.

Sporting look good value to go through in Group C as Shakhtar Donetsk need to beat Barcelona in order to have a chance of finishing 2nd in the group. Sporting play Basle and are heavily favoured.

Group D is a foregone conclusion as Atletico and Liverpool have both already qualified.

Group E has also been decided  as Man United and Villareal will both go through, United will likely emerge as group winners.

Group F is also done and dusted with Lyon and FC Bayern having both qualified.

Group G looks like a similar story as Arsenal and FC Porto are both heading through to the knockout stages as well.

Group H is a similar story.
