GAMEPLAY

Now you won't find many small stakes tables here, because presumably if your in the purple playing field you should be into big stakes games. With that said, you small stakes players can easily find 0.25/0.50 tables (in all three Littlewoods currencies of GBP, USD and EUR) on up to the big boys of 150/300 in Holdem. So yeah, this is a place for the big boys but you beginners will find it friendly, too. Plus with the nice tutorials and game info, Littlewoods really makes it not too intimidating. Very sporting of them!

INCENTIVES

The promotions area could use a little housekeeping, as it's not always the most accessible area (still can't figure out HOW exactly one would earn this large referal bonus that was advertised randomly on the homepage) but it seems that they are still in the early process of getting their promotions department together. For now, you receive a $25 FREE BONUS each and every month (200 raked hands required to earn the bonus) and a chance at the Bad Beat Bonus (starts at $1500 each month and grows $100 daily!). They are working on a loyalty program called "Poker Points" but at this time it looks like you can only earn them. SUPPORT

Right off the bat I have deduct a point or so because of no Live Chat support, but otherwise their options are good. You can email or call Toll Free from around the world to get the answers to life's most burning questions (okay, they should be poker related) and the answers come in a reasonable to below average time (about 8 hours for simple questions but much longer for more specialized questions). They should work on the speed a bit here, but overall OK.

DEPOSIT/WITHDRAWAL

While the deposit procedure at Littlewoodspoker.com is certainly snappy and to the point (you can use Credit Card, Wire Transfer or NETeller), the withdrawal is a bit slower. I know the reason is for security purposes, but just be warned that to withdraw money you will need an Ecash PIN, which they send to you via snail mail the day after you make your first deposit. Not a big deal, but worth pointing at. Hey, heightened security is not here to make things easier!

COMPETITION

Yes, you've got a lot of big stakes tables and surely that attracts the more experienced players but you also have a lot of traffic sliding over from the Littlewoods Casino, which means beginners and looky-loos. So everyone has a place at the big virtual poker table, which is nice. Soft competition is definitely there, but it seemed most of players were at a medium to advanced level.
