The Betfair punters with big ante-post prices about Lush Lashes and Chinese White for the Oaks will be further heartened by the news that Timeform have the pair at the top of their Epsom ratings.

Lush Lashes has been backed as high as 99/1 on Betfair to win at Epsom and, now the 10/3 favourite on the exchange, Timeform have her a healthy 6llb clear of her Friday rivals.

The next best in their ratings is Chinese White. Her ante-post betting profile on Betfair is remarkably similar to that of New Approach in the Derby, as she also drifted to 209/1 after connections declared her an unlikely Epsom contender, following her impressive Gowran Park success last month.

Betfair spokesman Tony Calvin commented: "The ante-post betting patterns and running plans of Chinese White are eerily similar to New Approach but, unlike the Derby colt, she probably has improvement to find if she is win the Oaks."

And Kieran Packman, Timeform's Communications Manager, explained: "Lush Lashes is top-rated having put up as good a performance as has been seen in the Musidora since Reams of Verse in 1997.

"Given she had also shaped with distinct promise when a running-on sixth in the 1000 Guineas, she has all the hallmarks of an Oaks winner, particularly as, on pedigree, she should be at least as effective at a mile and a half.

"Getaway heads our Coronation Cup pecking order, not surprisingly as we said after his Newmarket win that he looked potentially dominant in the middle-distance scene this season. He announced his coming of age in breathtaking style on that occasion and he should prove hard to beat on Friday."
