Fernando Alonso Rumoured To Join Ferrari in 2010

The Spanish Banking group Santander Bank, which had joined Mclaren in 2007 following Alonso's joining with Mclaren, has announced that it would be joining Ferrari as a sponsor from 2010.

This has led to rumours that it might be a sign that Fernando Alonso might also be moving to Ferrari in 2010.

UK Bookmakers SkyBet have opened betting on Fernando Alonso' team in 2010.

Santander boss, Emilo Botin has also stated their desire to work with Alonso in an interview with a Spanish newspaper Diario AS.

"Alonso is the best driver the world and I would like to work with him," he said.

"Santander will, if we can, have the best driver on the planet, although that's something that depends not only on us."

There are also rumours that Kimi Raikkonen might leave Ferrari before 2010, when his contract ends.
