STEPHEN HENDRY TO WIN ROYAL LONDON WATCHES GRAND PRIX

October 13, 2008 - A.J Ryder After securing his first win of the season, despite a tight 5-4 result against David Gilbert in the qualifier, Stephen Hendry predicts big things on home territory at the Royal London Watches Grand Prix of Snooker. Hendry had to rely on some clutch breaks of 69, 70 and 98 in order to progress and the world number six clearly thinks he has the ability to go on and win the title.

Other contenders include Steve Davis, Stephen Maguire and Ronnie O'Sullivan. The matches currently under way will produce the final 16 and other punters are turning to last year's champion Marco Fu who is currently listed at a juicy 10/1 on Betfair.
