THEO WALCOTT SHOULDER INJURY GOOD NEWS FOR GABRIEL AGBONLAHOR

November 19, 2008 - A.J Ryder The England camp, and doubtlessly Arsene Wenger, were rocked by the breaking news that Theo Walcott has sustained a shoulder injury and will not just be unavailable for tonight's match with Germany, he will be out for the next three months. I am now even more confident that Gabby Agbonlahor will play a roll in tonight's game, garnering his first England cap in the process. The side will be deprived of pace without Walcott and I can now see Capello deploying Gabby up front with Crouch or to see Agbonlahor coming on in the 55th minute as a sub for Defoe. I personally think Agbonlahor will add more to the team in lieu of Defoe who is a competent enough striker, but an unexceptional player at international level.
